Mikrokredite funktionieren! Ich habe bei kiva.org ein paar Franken als Kredit vergeben und heute dieses Feedback bekommen:
Gloria is a busy mother of four who owns a fishing business with her husband Eliezer. A proud member of ASHI since 1995, Gloria used her Kiva loan to build her fishing business and purchase supplies such as fishnets, bamboo, and a fishing boat. Since receiving the loan, her family’s monthly income has increased by 25%.
Dedicated to her business, Gloria spends four hours a day cleaning fish from the morning catch. She then dries the fish for two whole days before her finished goods are ready to be sold in the markets in Binangonan in the province of Rizal. Gloria sells large tubs of fish for 540 PHP which costs 160 PHP to make netting her a profit of approx 380 PHP (approx $8 US dollars).
Since joining ASHI, Gloria has experienced positive changes in her life. She can now afford electricity and recently built a bathroom in her home on Talim Island. She can also afford to send her two eldest kids to high school. Prior to ASHI, Gloria had no access to capital to support her entrepreneurial dreams.
